Dominion Lending CentresDLCG · #1 for new mortgages · $84.5B in 2025
Mortgage Broker for Associations · BC & Alberta

A member benefit you don't have to run.

Associations, unions, boards and chambers are asked for member value every year. Mortgage advice is value every member needs and few get straight: a session at your meeting, a webinar for the members who can't attend, plain language on what has changed, and a desk built for your profession when a member has a file. We run it. You lend your name only where you choose to.

Seven lender Business Development Managers — MCAP, National Bank, Questbank, Equitable Bank, Home Trust, Neighbourhood Holdings, and WealthOne Bank — have recommended Ramin on the record. Read their words →

What we bring your members

Complex files, handled properly.

🎤

Workshops and webinars

A short session for your meeting, or a webinar for members who can't attend: renewals, buying, refinancing, self-employed qualification, or whatever your members ask about most. Questions answered live, no sales pitch.

👮

A desk for officers

Police, RCMP, sheriffs, corrections, border services and Armed Forces members have their own desk at officerfinancing.ca: shift and overtime income, relocation and the rest of officer pay, underwritten properly.

🩺

A desk for physicians and clinic owners

Medical and dental associations get two desks: physicianmortgage.ca for the home mortgage, healthcarepracticefinancing.ca for the practice, the premises and the equipment.

🌅

Members 55 and over

Reverse mortgages explained with the year-by-year math first, through reversefinancing.ca, for retiree and seniors' organizations.

🧮

Calculators your members can keep

Free calculators across the whole family of sites, no sign-up and no lead capture, so a session ends with members running their own numbers instead of taking ours on faith.

🤝

A named broker for your members

A named contact, a reply within one business day, and a file handled start to finish by the same licensed broker, whichever desk it belongs on.

When to send us the client

The signals worth a fifteen-minute call.

  • Your members ask for a financial-literacy or mortgage session
  • A member-benefit slot needs filling at the AGM or a chapter meeting
  • Your members are police, corrections, border services, military, physicians or clinic owners
  • Your members are 55 and over and asking about home equity
  • Your members are self-employed or business owners the banks turn away
Relationship protection

How we protect your client relationship.

🤝

Your client stays your client

We broker mortgages — nothing else. No investments, no insurance, no competing services. Every file comes back to you stronger.

🔍

You stay in the loop

With client consent, you see the proposed structure before it's submitted — leverage, rate, term, and exit — at whatever level of detail you choose.

📋

Documentation done properly

Files built to be defensible — complete, consistent, and explainable to a lender, CRA, or a court if it ever comes to that.

What comes back to you: A session your members thank you for, a recording for your library, and nothing taken from your member list.

Send these to your client

Free tools you can hand over today.

No signup, no lead capture, no pitch inside the math — send the link and your client arrives at your next meeting with a number instead of a worry. Every one has its arithmetic verified against Canadian rules.

See all the calculators — 60+ across the practice, free to use and free to share.

Process

What a referral looks like.

1

Intro call (15 min)

You outline the situation — no names needed. We tell you honestly whether we can add value and what the structure could look like.

2

Client conversation

We meet your client, gather documents, and keep you copied at the level of detail you choose.

3

Structure review

Before submission you see the proposed structure and can flag legal, tax, or timing implications we should route around.

4

Funding & handback

The deal funds, you receive a closing summary for your file, and the client returns to you for everything else.

Partner FAQ

Questions partners actually ask.

What does a session cost the association?+

Nothing. We don't charge for workshops or webinars, we don't ask for member lists, and nobody is signed up to anything by attending. Members who want help contact us themselves.

Can the session be co-branded or recorded?+

Yes to both, at your choice. We can present under your banner, record the webinar for your member library, and leave a plain-language handout. What we don't do is share attendee details or add anyone to a list.

Which organizations is this built for?+

Police and corrections associations and unions, medical and dental associations, realtor boards, chambers of commerce, trade and business associations, and seniors' organizations. If your members own homes or businesses, there is a session worth running.

Can you go through our existing client base to find missed opportunities?+

Yes — data mining an established partner's book is one of the most productive things we do together. With client consent and your privacy obligations fully respected, we review your existing files through a financing lens: the deal declined two years ago that places today, the equity position that unlocks a next move, the renewal nobody is watching. Missed files become closed deals — for you and for us — everyone involved looks like a complete professional, and the biggest winner is the client who was told it couldn't be done.

Do you pay referral fees?+

Where regulations allow and with full disclosure to the client, referral arrangements are available — though many of our partners decline them to preserve independence. Either way works, and the client is told either way.

Can you work with clients outside BC and Alberta?+

Our licences cover BC and Alberta. Ontario files are placed through DLC AIMI Collective Mortgage Group, licensed in Ontario, by our in-house underwriter; files in other provinces go through the Dominion Lending Centres national desk — one point of contact, same standards.

Have a client file in mind?

Describe it in two sentences — no names needed.

We'll tell you within one business day whether it's fundable and how we'd structure it. Ask about a free workshop for your team while you're at it.
